Level badges are a new way to show how much time you've spent watching live streams on KICK. The more you watch, the higher your level grows, and you can show your level badge off right next to your username in chat.

How leveling works
Your level reflects how much time you've spent watching live streams. It goes up automatically as you watch, so there are no extra steps and nothing to turn on. Just enjoy the streams you already love and your level takes care of itself.
What is your level?
Your level is a number that shows your journey on KICK. It sits next to your username in chat and tells the community how long you've been part of the platform.
Think of it as a badge of time. The higher the number, the more streams you've been part of. Your level is visible to other users in chat, so it's a real marker of your presence on KICK.
How do you level up?
Just watch. Your level climbs automatically as you spend time watching live streams. Progress builds up quietly in the background while you're watching, so you don't have to do anything special.
💡 You need to be logged in for your watch time to count toward your level.
How to turn on your level badge
Your level badge is turned off by default. That means you'll need to switch it on yourself to display it across all the chats you appear in on KICK. Here's how:
In any chat, click the settings (gear) icon at the bottom right, next to the Chat button.
2. In the Chat Settings menu, select Identity.
3. Under Global badges (these appear across all channels), select your level badge to turn it on.
That's it. Your level badge will now show next to your username in every channel you chat in.
Where can you check your progress?
You can see your current level and how close you are to the next one at any time:
Click your avatar in the top right of the screen
Your level and progress toward the next level will be shown there
Frequently asked questions
Does it matter what I watch?
No. Any live stream counts toward your progress, so watch whatever you enjoy.
Do I need to be in chat or interact?
No interaction is needed. Your watch time builds up passively in the background, and just having a stream open is enough.
Can I lose my level?
No. Levels only go up, never down. Every hour you've watched is permanently credited to your progress.
Where can I see my progress?
Click your avatar in the top right of the screen while you're logged in. Your current level and progress toward the next one will appear there. Remember, you need to be logged in for watch time to count.
Does watch time from before the system launched count?
The levelling system starts fresh from launch day. Only watch time earned after the system went live counts toward your level.
