If you’re building your community on KICK.com, you’ve probably noticed the small icons next to subscriber names in chat. These are subscription badges. They may be small, but they are a powerful way to highlight loyalty, build community, and make your chat feel more personalised.

What Are Subscription Badges?

Subscription badges are small icons that appear next to a Viewer’s name in your chat after they subscribe to your channel. Think of them as status symbols that show how long someone has been supporting your channel.

Sub badges are more than just visual flair. They are a sign of loyalty, identity, and growth. If you’re serious about streaming on KICK, customising these badges can help strengthen your channel’s brand.

Badges change based on how long someone has been subscribed. For example:

  • 1 month: Starter badge

  • 6 months: Upgraded badge

  • 12 months: Long-term supporter badge

Why Do Subscription Badges Matter?

  • Reward loyalty: Your long-term subscribers deserve recognition.

  • Improve the chat experience: Badges can make your stream feel more polished and professional.

How to Add Subscription Badges on KICK

KICK’s tools are evolving, but here is the most up-to-date method.

1. Become a KICK Affiliate or KICK Partner

You cannot add sub badges unless you are in the Affiliate or Partner program. This means:

  • Your channel is monetised.

  • You have a subscription button.

  • You can earn revenue from subscriptions through the 95/5 split.

2. Create Your Badge Set

You will need image files in PNG format with transparent backgrounds. You can design them yourself or have them designed for your channel.

3. Upload Your Badges

You can upload your badges through your KICK Streamer Dashboard:

  1. Go to kick.com and log in.

  2. Click your profile icon, then select Streamer Dashboard.

  3. Navigate to Channel > Community > Sub Badges.

  4. Upload each PNG in its respective time slot, such as 1 month or 3 months.

  5. Click Save.

Once saved, your subscription badges will be ready to appear in chat.

How Do Subscription Badges Work in Chat?

Once someone subscribes, their sub badge appears next to their name automatically.

As time passes, KICK will automatically update its badge when they reach new loyalty milestones.

No manual work is needed from you after setup.
