KICK is home to thousands of Streamers across every kind of content you can think of: gaming, Just Chatting, music, ASMR, art, and plenty more. With so much to explore, knowing how to use the homepage and find streams you will enjoy makes the experience much better.
This guide walks you through the KICK homepage, how to browse by category, how to search for what you want, and how to discover new Streamers worth following.
A tour of the KICK homepage
When you land on kick.com, the homepage is your starting point. Here is what each part of it does.
1. Home
When you are navigating through other sections on KICK, clicking Home brings you back to the KICK.com homepage.
2. Browse
The Browse link takes you to a page where you can explore everything happening on KICK right now. From the Browse page you can switch between:
Livestreams: Every channel currently live, sortable by Concurrent Viewers, language, and more
Categories: All available categories on KICK
Clips: Popular and trending clips from across the platform
3. Following
The Following link takes you to a dedicated page showing the channels and categories you follow. This is the easiest way to keep up with the Streamers you watch most.
4. Following Menu
The Following Menu in the left sidebar shows the channels you follow. Channels currently livestreaming will be highlighted. Channels that are offline will appear greyed out.
If you are not following anyone yet, this section will let you know and prompt you to start exploring.
5. Search
Use the search bar to find specific channels, categories, or content. Type a Streamer's username or a category name and KICK will surface matching results.
💡 If you are not finding a Streamer you are looking for, double-check the spelling. Usernames on KICK are unique and exact.
6. Account Menu
Clicking your avatar in the top right (when logged in) opens a menu where you can access:
Channel: Your own KICK channel page
Streamer Dashboard: Where you manage your streams, settings, and analytics if you are a Streamer
Subscriptions: Your active subscriptions and billing details
Settings: Your full account settings, including profile, privacy, and notifications
Log out: Sign out of your account
7. Featured Streams
The top section of the homepage highlights featured channels. These are streams we think are worth checking out, often including popular and trending Streamers.
8. Top Live Categories
The Top Live Categories section shows the categories with the most Viewers and Streamers right now. Clicking Show More or View all will take you to the full Categories Browse page.
Browsing by category
Categories are how KICK groups streams by what they are about. Whether you are into a specific game or want to watch someone chat with their community, there is a category for it.
To browse categories:
Click Browse in the top navigation
Open the Categories tab
Click any category to see all the live streams in it
Sort streams by Concurrent Viewers, recency, or other options
Some popular categories on KICK include:
Just Chatting: Streamers talking to their community without a specific activity
Gaming categories: Each game has its own category (Fortnite, Minecraft, GTA, etc.)
Music: Live music performances and DJ sets
ASMR: Calming, relaxing audio-focused content
Slots & Casino: Gambling content (where legally permitted)
You can also explore the browse page directly to see everything available.
Recommendations and personalised content
The more you watch on KICK, the better we get at recommending content you will enjoy. Recommendations on the homepage are based on:
The categories and Streamers you watch most
The channels you follow
Trending content among Viewers with similar interests
If your homepage feels stale, try watching a few new categories or Streamers. Your recommendations will start adapting to your interests.
Discovering new Streamers
Beyond the homepage and categories, here are a few ways to find new channels worth watching:
Check trending categories. Trending categories often surface new and interesting content you would not see otherwise
Watch Hosts. When a Streamer ends their stream and Hosts another channel, that is a great way to discover Streamers in similar niches
Follow what your favourite Streamers shout out. Many Streamers recommend other channels they enjoy
Browse by language. If you want to watch content in a specific language, you can filter by language on category pages
Explore smaller streams. Smaller channels often have tight, welcoming communities and are a great way to find your tribe on KICK
Following channels you enjoy
When you find a Streamer you like, follow them. Following adds them to your following list and (if you turn on notifications) lets you know when they go live.
To follow a channel:
Visit the Streamer's channel page
Click the Follow button below their stream
To turn on notifications when they go live, see How to setup KICK Live Notifications.
For more on following, see How to Follow a KICK Livestream.
Adjusting what you see
KICK gives you control over what appears on your feed. You can:
Block channels you do not want to see
Adjust mature content settings if you do not want to see 18+ streams
Customise your homepage by following more channels in the categories you enjoy
For more on Viewer controls, see Viewer Controls & Streamer Controls.
