Subscribing to a Streamer is one of the best ways to support them and become part of their community. Subscriptions give the Streamer a reliable share of revenue and give you (the Viewer) extra perks in their channel.
This guide explains how subscriptions work on KICK, what you pay, and what you get.
How subscriptions work on KICK
KICK Subscriptions are a flat $5 USD per month, in every country we support.

What you get when you subscribe
When you subscribe to a channel, you unlock the following perks:
A subscriber badge that appears next to your username in that Streamer's chat
Subscriber Emotes — custom Emotes uploaded by the Streamer that can be used across all of KICK chat (not just the channel you subscribed to)
Subscriber-only chat access — when the Streamer enables sub-only mode, only subscribers can chat
Some Streamers offer additional perks for their subscribers, such as:
Discord server access
Sub-only streams or content
The specific perks vary by Streamer. Many will list what they offer in their channel's About section.
💡 Subscribing does not remove ads on KICK. Subscriptions are a way to directly support the Streamer, not a premium tier of the platform itself.
Sub badges and how they level up
The longer you subscribe to a channel, the more your sub badge can change to reflect your loyalty. Many Streamers customise their badges with milestone designs at:
1 month
2 months
3 months
6 months
9 months
1 year
2 years
and beyond
Your sub badge appears next to your username in that Streamer's chat, signalling to others how long you have been part of the community.
Subscriber Emotes
Once you subscribe to a channel, you unlock that channel's subscriber-only Emotes. Sub Emotes work across all of KICK chat, not just the channel you subscribed to.
💡 Subscriber Emotes only work while you are actively subscribed. If your subscription lapses, those Emotes will stop working until you re-subscribe.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions on KICK automatically renew each month unless you unsubscribe. If your card fails or your subscription cannot renew, your subscriber perks for that channel will end at the end of your current billing period.
⚠️ Once you unsubscribe from a channel, the subscription cannot be reactivated to resume automatically. If you want to support the same channel again later, you will need to start a new subscription.

💡 Unsubscribing does not immediately end your perks. You keep them until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Gifted subs
Gifted subs are subscriptions someone else pays for on your behalf. You receive all the same perks as a regular sub for the duration of the gift (usually one month).

Frequently asked questions
Can I subscribe to multiple channels?
Yes. There is no limit to how many channels you can subscribe to. Each subscription is separate and renews on its own schedule.
Do my subscriber Emotes work in other channels?
Yes. Once you subscribe to a channel and unlock that channel's Emotes, you can use those Emotes in any KICK chat where Emotes are allowed.
What happens if a Streamer leaves KICK?
If a Streamer leaves the platform, your subscription will continue to renew until either the user cancels or the streamer deletes the account or requests the a provider account pause.
Can I see all my active subscriptions?
Yes. Log in to your KICK account, go to your profile options, and open the subscriptions section to see every channel you are currently subscribed to.
Does subscribing remove ads on KICK?
No. Subscriptions are a way to directly support the Streamer. Ad experience on KICK is the same whether you are subscribed to a channel or not.
Why is KICK Subscription a flat price instead of tiers?
KICK keeps things simple. A flat $5 subscription is easy to understand, easy to communicate, and means every subscriber contributes the same support to their favourite Streamers.
