I cannot log in to my KICK account

Login issues are frustrating, but they usually have a simple cause. This guide walks through the most common reasons you might not be able to log in to KICK and how to get back into your account.

Start with the basics

Before assuming there is a bigger issue, check the simple things:

  • Make sure your Caps Lock is off

  • Confirm you are using the correct email address, especially if you have more than one

  • Try copying and pasting your password rather than typing it

  • Check that you are on the correct site: kick.com

Reset your password

If you are sure you are using the right email but the password is not working, reset it. See our guide on how to change your KICK password for the full process.

If you do not receive the password reset email within a few minutes:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Search your inbox for "KICK"

  • Add KICK's email domain to your safe sender's list, then try again

Clear your browser cache and cookies

Old cookies can cause login problems. Try this:

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies

  2. Close and reopen your browser

  3. Try logging in again

If that does not work, try a different browser or use private/incognito mode to test.

Disable browser extensions

Some browser extensions, especially ad blockers, privacy tools, and VPNs, can interfere with KICK's login process. To test if an extension is the issue:

  1. Open KICK in private/incognito mode, which usually disables extensions

  2. Try logging in

  3. If it works, an extension is the cause. Re-enable extensions one at a time to find the one causing the issue

Try the mobile app or web

If you cannot log in on the web but need access urgently, try the KICK mobile app. If one works and the other does not, the issue is specific to that platform and you can troubleshoot from there.

I have 2FA enabled and cannot get the code

If you have Two-Factor Authentication turned on but cannot get into your account, see our guide on Two-Factor Authentication problems.

My account might be locked or suspended

There is a difference between a locked account and a suspended one:

  • Locked: Your account is temporarily blocked, usually because of suspicious login attempts. This is a security measure, not a punishment. You can usually unlock it by resetting your password or contacting support.

  • Suspended: Your account has been suspended for breaking our Community Guidelines. You will receive an email explaining why.

If you think your account has been suspended in error, you can appeal through [email protected] following the instructions in your suspension email.

My account might have been hacked

If you cannot log in and you have not changed your password, your account may have been compromised. See our guide on Account recovery for what to do next.

Still having issues?
