Channel Points is a feature that allows streamers to create custom rewards for their community members.
Channel Points serve as recognition for the time you spend watching a specific channel. Points that you earn are specific to each channel, and accumulate automatically when you're logged in and watching a stream. The more time you spend watching, the more points you'll earn.
Channel Points are designed to enhance community engagement, and we plan to expand this feature with additional functionality in the future. This feature is available to all users on release.

How to Earn Channel Points
Channel Points are tied to each individual channel and are earned through watching streams on that channel. Any points earned in relation to a particular channel must be redeemed within the same channel. Points accumulated on one channel cannot be redeemed on another.
We plan to introduce additional ways to earn points as we continue to develop this feature.
You can view your Channel Points balance below the chat input field in the chat window. Points are gained periodically as you watch the stream.
This section will continue to be built out as we add more ways of earning Channel Points.
Please note: Watching through screen mirroring or picture-in-picture mode does not count towards earning Channel Points. For TV viewing, please use our dedicated TV app instead of screen mirroring.
How to Use Channel Points
Channel Points can be redeemed for custom rewards created by the streamer. The point value for each reward is determined by the streamer.
To use your Channel Points, click on the Channel Points icon located beneath the chat input field. This will open the rewards menu displaying the available rewards for that channel and the corresponding points needed to redeem.
When you select a reward, you'll see a more detailed description (if provided by the streamer). Follow any included instructions to complete your redemption.
After redeeming a reward, a message will appear in the chat that is visible to all users to show the reward you have redeemed.
After this, the streamer will receive the redemption in their queue and will be responsible for fulfilling it. If the streamer decides to reject your redemption, you'll receive a refund of the Channel Points you spent.
