Guide to channel points

Channel Points is a feature that allows Streamers to create custom rewards for their community members.

Channel Points recognise the time you spend watching a specific channel. The points you earn are specific to each channel and accumulate automatically when you are logged in and watching a stream. The more time you spend watching, the more points you earn.

Channel Points are designed to enhance community engagement, and we plan to expand this feature with additional functionality in the future. This feature is available to all Viewers at launch.

Channel Points are tied to each individual channel and are earned by watching streams on that channel. Any points earned on a specific channel must be redeemed on that same channel. Points accumulated on one channel cannot be redeemed on another.

We plan to introduce additional ways to earn points as we continue to develop this feature.

You can view your Channel Points balance below the chat input field in the chat window. Points are gained periodically as you watch the stream.

This section will continue to be updated as we add more ways to earn Channel Points.

Channel Points can be redeemed for custom rewards created by the Streamer. The point value for each reward is determined by the Streamer.

To use your Channel Points, click the Channel Points icon beneath the chat input field. This will open the rewards menu, which displays the available rewards for that channel and the points needed to redeem each one.

When you select a reward, you will see a more detailed description if one has been provided by the Streamer. Follow any included instructions to complete your redemption.

After you redeem a reward, a message will appear in the chat and be visible to all Viewers, showing the reward you redeemed.

The Streamer will then receive the redemption in their queue and will be responsible for fulfilling it. If the Streamer rejects your redemption, you will receive a refund of the Channel Points you spent.
