Following Streamers on KICK is a great way to keep up with your favourite channels. With live notifications enabled, you can be alerted whenever those Streamers go live so you never miss a stream.
How live notifications work
When you follow a Streamer on KICK and have notifications enabled, you receive an alert when that Streamer goes live. Notifications are delivered through:
Browser notifications when you have kick.com open in your browser
Push notifications through the KICK mobile app
You only receive notifications for channels you follow.
Enabling browser notifications
To receive notifications when KICK is open in your browser:
Go to kick.com and log in
Click your avatar in the top-right corner
Open Settings
Find the Notifications section
Enable browser notifications
Your browser may ask you to allow notifications from kick.com when you first enable this. Click Allow when prompted.
If you do not see the prompt, your browser may have notifications blocked at the system level. Check your browser's notification permissions and make sure kick.com is allowed.
Enabling mobile push notifications
To receive notifications on your phone:
Download the KICK mobile app on iOS or Android
Sign in to your KICK account
Allow the app to send notifications when prompted (if you missed the prompt, you can change this in your phone's notification settings under the KICK app)
Notifications are enabled by default once permission is granted
You can fine-tune which Streamers you receive notifications for through your follow list.
Managing notifications per Streamer
You can choose which followed Streamers send you notifications and which do not.
Visit a Streamer's channel page
Find the notification bell icon next to the Follow button
Toggle the bell on or off
When the bell is on, you receive notifications for that Streamer's livestreams. When it is off, you still follow them but do not get alerted when they go live.
This is useful when you follow many Streamers but only want notifications from a smaller group.
Troubleshooting
I'm not getting notifications even though they're enabled.
Check the following:
Your KICK notification settings are turned on (Settings > Notifications)
The bell icon for that specific Streamer is enabled
Your browser or operating system is not blocking notifications from kick.com or the KICK app
You have the KICK app installed and signed in for mobile notifications
For mobile, your phone's "Do Not Disturb" mode is off
My browser shows notifications are blocked.
In Chrome:
Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings
Find Notifications
Make sure kick.com is allowed (or remove it from blocked sites)
In Firefox, Safari, and other browsers, the steps are similar.
My phone is not getting push notifications.
Check that the KICK app has notification permissions in your phone settings
Open the app and confirm you are signed in to your account
Make sure your phone's notification settings allow alerts from KICK
