Many aspects of your stream can be controlled directly from within the chat window on your channel. Chat commands are faster than navigating the Streamer Dashboard mid-stream, which makes them especially useful for moderation and quick changes.
This article is a complete reference of every command available on KICK, organised by what you are trying to do.
💡 You can easily access the list of commands by typing / (forward slash) into chat. Available commands will appear automatically.
Permissions: who can use what
Most commands are available to both Channel Owners and Moderators. A few are reserved for Channel Owners only — typically those that affect Mod team membership, badges, or KICK Partner features.
In the tables below, the Permissions column shows who can use each command:
Channel Owners — only the Streamer who owns the channel
Channel Owners + Moderators — both
Channel Owners (KICK Partners) — only Channel Owners with KICK Partner status
Moderation actions
Commands for managing chat behaviour and individual users.

Command | Permissions | Function |
/title <new title> | Channel Owners + Moderators | Sets a new title for the current stream |
/category | Channel Owners + Moderators | Changes the stream category |
/raid | Channel Owners | Raids another KICK Streamer |
About /raid:
Raiding redirects your Viewers to another channel when used. This is a great way to send your audience somewhere positive at the end of your stream. Your stream must have at least 5 Viewers for the Raid button to become active.
💡That the feature is limited to 2 raids per 24 hours
For more on raiding another channel, see Collaborating with other Streamers on KICK.

KICK Partner-only commands
These commands are only available to Channel Owners with KICK Partner status.
Command | Permissions | Function |
/multi (on/off) | Channel Owners (KICK Partners) | Toggles Multistreaming |
/kpp (on/off) | Channel Owners (KICK Partners) | Toggles KICK Partner Program income |
About /multi:
The /multi command toggles Multistreaming.
⚠️ Streaming to other platforms without enabling the Multistream toggle is a breach of the KICK Partner Program Terms. When Multistreaming, revenue is calculated differently and may be reduced compared to streaming exclusively on KICK.
For details, see Multistreaming on the KICK Partner Program.
About /kpp:
The /kpp command toggles your participation in the KICK Partner Program revenue. Streamers have this option, allowing them to disable KPP when they plan to stream content, such as sleeping streams, watch parties, or when deciding to step away from the stream for a certain period of time. When KPP is enabled, active chat interaction and overall engagement are required.
Troubleshooting
My command isn't working.
Check:
Spelling and exact format (commands are case-sensitive in some cases)
Whether you have permission to use that command
Whether the channel state allows it (e.g., /raid requires 5+ Viewers)
Try refreshing your chat or logging out and back in if a command keeps failing.
I accidentally banned someone.
Use /unban <username> to immediately remove the ban.
I want to remove a Moderator's permissions.
Use /unmod <username>.
I want to disable all chat restrictions quickly.
Use the corresponding "off" commands: /slow off, /followonly off, /subonly off, /emoteonly off.
