A KICK Event is more than a normal stream and is content that gives viewers a clear reason to show up live. The Event page is a dedicated page that brings multiple streamers together, and instead of hunting for individual channels, viewers get a single destination where they can watch the host and participants together, including in multiview.
Events sit on top of the channels you already know. Each streamer goes live on their own channel like normal, and the event pulls those streams together into one shared page.
What you'll see on an event page
The event page shows you all the live streamers taking part in the event. The host is generally the default primary stream, with other participating streams alongside.
Click the Add a stream button to see all the participating streams that are currently live. From there you can add any of them to your view at the click of a button.
If no one in the event is live, the page shows a “no streams” screen even during the event’s duration. This is normal, especially outside the event’s main hours, so check back later to catch the action.
Watching more than one stream at once
When an event has more than one person taking part, you can build your own multiview and add any live participant you want to watch.
How many streams you can watch at once depends on your device:
Web: up to 4 streams at once
Mobile web: up to 2 streams at once
Mobile app: watch and switch between streams, as multiview isn't available here just yet
If it's a single streamer event, you won't see the "Add a stream" option, since there's only one stream to watch.
Announcements from the host
Event hosts can post announcements that appear as a banner on the event page while the event is live. Hosts use these to keep you across what’s happening, like a schedule change, a big moment or where the action is heading next.
Some announcements come with a button that the host has set up, pointing you to the streams they want you to watch. Click it, and you’ll see a confirmation pop-up letting you know those streams will replace what’s in your multiview. Confirm, and you’re straight into the action, or cancel to keep watching what you’ve got.
Catch the best bits with key moments
Every event page has a key moments carousel full of clips, so you can catch up with the latest.
Where to find events
Events homepage is the primary way to discover and find all events on KICK. This page will show all live and upcoming events in one place, and can be accessed by this link kick.com/events
Other ways to discover events:
Category pages: while an event is live, an event tile shows up under the matching category
On a stream: participating streams show a popup and a tag in the player that take you straight to the event
From your favourite streamers: lots of streamers share their event link on their own socials, so keep an eye out
