Global gift subs leaderboard

Gifting subs is one of the best ways to show a channel some love, and now there's a live scoreboard that shows which channels are getting the most gift love right now. Say hello to the Global Gift Subs Leaderboard.

This guide walks you through what it is, how to find it, and how it all works.

What is the Gift Subs Leaderboard?

The Global Gift Subs Leaderboard shows the top 50 channels on KICK ranked by the gifted subscriptions they've received, updated live as gifts roll in.

It runs on an hourly cycle, so there's a fresh chance to climb the board every single hour. If a channel isn't up there now, they could be next hour.

How to find the leaderboard

You don't need to go hunting for it. While you're watching a stream, just look right next to the Streamer's username.

  • If the channel is currently sitting in the top 50, you'll see their rank next to their name, like #7. Tap or click that rank to open the leaderboard.

  • If the channel isn't in the top 50 right now, there won't be a rank showing, so there's nothing to tap.

What you'll see inside the panel

The panel opens straight to the current hour's Gift Subs leaderboard.

Each channel on the list shows you:

  • Its rank

  • The channel avatar

  • The channel name

  • How many gifted subs it has received this hour

The list is sorted from the most gifted subs at the top down to the least, and it updates live as new gifts come in. No need to close and reopen anything, it just refreshes by itself.

At the top of the panel, there's a countdown timer that shows how long is left before the leaderboard resets.

How the reset works

The leaderboard works in hourly rounds, and here's the rhythm of it:

  • Every gifted sub count starts back at zero at the top of each hour and builds up from there.

  • The reset happens right on the hour, based on UTC time.

  • If a gift lands right on the reset moment, it counts toward the brand new hour, not the one that just wrapped up.

  • The channel that finishes the hour at #1 gets featured on the carousel for 30 minutes afterwards, as long as they're still live.

So finishing on top actually comes with a nice little spotlight moment.

A few things worth knowing

  • Banned channels get removed from the leaderboard. If a banned channel would have made the top 50, that spot doesn't get filled in by someone else. So if 2 channels are removed, you'll see 48 entries instead of 50.

  • Big gifted sub numbers are shortened to keep them easy to read, so you'll see things like 1.2K or 3.4M.

  • If there's no data yet for the current hour, or the leaderboard can't load for some reason, you'll get a clear message instead of just a blank panel.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see a leaderboard rank on this stream?

The channel you're watching isn't in the top 50 for gifted subs this hour. As soon as a channel makes the top 50, its rank pops up next to the Streamer's name.

Why did the leaderboard suddenly change?

Rankings update live all through the hour as gifts come in, so positions move around in real time. On top of that, the whole board fully resets at the top of every hour on UTC time, so everyone starts fresh.

Why does the leaderboard show fewer than 50 channels?

One or more channels that would have qualified were removed because of a platform ban. We don't fill those empty spots back in, so the list can show fewer than 50 entries.

Does finishing #1 do anything special?

Yes. Whoever finishes the hour in first place gets featured on the carousel for 30 minutes after the reset, as long as they're still live.
