Q: What is Multi-View?
Multi-View lets you watch multiple live streams from the same event at the same time. On web/desktop you can watch up to four streams at once. On mobile web you can watch up to two. You can watch streams side by side in an evenly distributed grid, or choose a focus view where one stream takes centre stage and the others sit alongside it.
Q: How do I find a Multi-View experience?
You can find it on the relevant category page. On the GTA category page for example, look for the event pill or server section. Clicking it takes you to that server's page where Multi-View is available.
Q: What is the ProdigyRP server on KICK?
ProdigyRP is a GTA roleplay server with a dedicated page on KICK where you can watch multiple streamers playing on the same server at once. It's always live, there's no set start or end time. Just head to the GTA category page and look for ProdigyRP to find it.
Q: How do I add streams to my Multi-View?
When you land on a Multi-View page, you'll see two streams by default, the host stream and one participant stream. To add more, click the + Add a stream button at the bottom of the player. You can add up to four participating streams in total.
Q: How do I switch between streams?
Click on any stream in your Multi-View to make it the focused stream. The focused stream controls the audio and chat. You'll see a highlight around it so you always know which one you're actively following.
Q: Can I change the layout?
Yes. You can switch between two layouts:
Evenly distributed: All streams share equal space on screen
Focus mode: Your focused stream takes up most of the screen, with the others displayed smaller alongside it
Q: How does audio work?
Only one stream plays audio at a time, the one you have in focus. When you switch focus, the audio switches with it. All other streams are muted by default.
Q: How does chat work?
Chat is tied to your focused stream. When you switch focus, the chat updates to show that stream's chat. Chats are not combined, you always see one chat at a time from your focused stream.
Q: Can I remove a stream from my view?
Yes. Click the X on any stream to remove it. The layout adjusts automatically to however many streams remain.
Q: Can I follow or subscribe to a creator from this page?
Yes. The follow, subscribe and gifted sub options always follow your focused stream. Switch focus to a creator and use the standard controls to follow or subscribe to their channel.
Q: Why isn't a stream showing in Multi-View?
A stream will only appear if the creator is currently live. If a stream has disappeared, it's likely the creator has ended their broadcast. Check back later or switch focus to another stream in your view.
