The KICK streaming calendar lets you schedule your upcoming streams so your Viewers know exactly when to tune in. You can set up one-off streams or recurring schedules, share them to your social accounts, and manage everything from your channel page.
Publishing a schedule helps your audience plan around your content, which means fewer people miss you going live.
⚠️ Scheduling is available on desktop and mobile web. It is not available in the KICK mobile app yet.
Only you can schedule, edit, or delete scheduled streams on your channel. Channel moderators do not have this permission.
Scheduling a stream
You can schedule a one-off stream or a recurring one from your channel page.
Go to your channel and tap the Schedule tab.
Tap + Schedule stream.
Enter your stream title, select a category, then choose a date, start time, and duration. You can also set the stream to repeat.
Tap Schedule to confirm.
Your stream appears on your channel calendar straight away.
A few things to keep in mind:
Minimum stream duration is 30 minutes.
Maximum stream duration is 48 hours.
You can only schedule a stream with a date and time in the future.
Editing a scheduled stream
Go to the Schedule tab on your channel and find the stream you want to change.
Tap the stream entry and select Edit.
Update the title, category, date, time, or duration.
For recurring streams, choose whether to edit just that occurrence or all future ones.
Tap Save Changes.
Your changes show on your channel immediately.
⚠️ You can edit the title and category while you are live, but you cannot change the date or time of a stream that is currently live.
For recurring streams, you can edit a single occurrence or the whole series. Editing several specific occurrences at once is not supported.
Deleting a scheduled stream
Go to the Schedule tab on your channel and find the stream you want to remove.
Tap the stream entry and select Delete.
For recurring streams, choose whether to delete just that occurrence or all future ones.
Confirm the deletion.
The stream is removed from your channel immediately.
⚠️ You cannot delete a stream while it is live. End the stream first, then delete the entry.
Your reminder to start streaming
If you are on KICK within 10 minutes of a scheduled stream, a reminder appears on screen with a link to your calendar, so you're nudged to go live on time.
This reminder is available on desktop and mobile web.
Sharing your schedule
Letting people know when you stream is half the point of having a schedule, so you can share it in a couple of ways.
Sharing your full calendar
From the Schedule tab on your channel, tap the share icon in the top right.
Choose to share your full calendar.
Select X, Facebook, or generate a link.
If you are not signed in to that social account, you will be prompted to sign in.
Sharing a single stream or a recurring series
Tap a scheduled stream on your channel calendar. This works for both one-off and recurring streams.
Select the Share icon.
Choose X, Facebook, or generate a link.
The link takes whoever opens it straight to that stream calendar entry on your channel schedule. For a recurring series, the link opens at the next upcoming instance.
Understanding stream states
Each entry on your calendar shows a state so you can see at a glance what is happening.
State | What it means |
Scheduled | An upcoming stream that has not started yet. |
Start Streaming | Only you see this one. It appears 5 minutes before your scheduled start time and stays for up to 30 minutes after, prompting you to go live. |
Pending | Visible to your Viewers. It shows for up to 30 minutes after your scheduled start time if you have not gone live yet. |
Live | The stream is live on KICK right now. |
Passed | The stream has ended, or you did not go live within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time. Shown greyed out. |
Default | No stream is scheduled on that date. |
Common questions
Can my moderators manage my schedule? No. Scheduling is limited to you as the channel creator.
My stream shows as Passed, but I did go live. The Live state only activates from the scheduled start time onwards. If you go live more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, the entry moves to Passed. Going live earlier than scheduled will not switch the entry to Live until the scheduled time is reached.
Can I schedule a stream for someone else's channel? No. You can only schedule streams on your own channel.
Will my stream automatically end when the estimated duration I set is reached?
No. The estimated duration is only used to display how long your stream is expected to run in the calendar for your viewers. It does not affect your live stream in any way. You can stream for as long as you like regardless of the estimated duration you set.
