If you have subscribed to a channel and the subscription does not seem to be working, or if you are a Streamer and a new sub is not showing up in your dashboard, this guide covers the most common causes and fixes.
I subscribed, but I do not see it
If you just subscribed and your subscription is not showing up:
Wait a few minutes. Subscriptions can take a short time to fully process
Refresh the page
Log out and log back in
Clear your browser cache and cookies, then log in again
Check your email for a payment confirmation. If you have a confirmation email but the subscription still is not showing, the issue is on our side, and our team can help.
If you do not have a confirmation email, the payment may not have gone through. See Payment failed or card declined on KICK.
My sub badge is not appearing in chat
Sub badges sometimes take a few minutes to activate. If you have just subscribed and you do not see your badge:
Refresh the chat or rejoin the channel
Log out and log back in
Check that the channel you subscribed to actually has sub badges set up
If the channel is new or has recently become a Verified Streamer, sub badges may not be configured yet. Reach out to the Streamer if you are not sure.
For full details on how badges work, see our Subscription Badges article.
I am a Streamer, and a new sub is not showing in my dashboard
If a Viewer says they have subscribed, but you do not see them in your subscriber list:
Refresh your Streamer Dashboard
Check the timestamp of their subscription confirmation. New subs can take a few minutes to appear in your dashboard
Confirm the Viewer subscribed to your channel and not a different one (this happens more often than you would think)
Check whether the sub was a gift. Gifted subs are credited to the gift recipient, not the gifter
If the sub still does not appear after 30 minutes, contact our Subscriptions Team. Details below.
My subscriber count looks wrong
Subscriber counts on KICK are based on active subscriptions, meaning subs that are currently paid up and within their billing period. If a sub expires, fails to renew, or is cancelled, it drops off your active count.
This means your subscriber count can fluctuate naturally over time. If you see a sudden drop, it is usually because:
A batch of subs reached the end of their billing cycle and did not renew
A round of gifted subs expired
Auto-renew failures (often due to expired cards)
This is normal. Active engagement with your community is the best way to keep your sub count steady.
How long should it take for a subscription to appear?
In most cases, subscriptions are processed and visible within a couple of minutes. If it has been more than 30 minutes and the subscription still is not showing for either the Viewer or the Streamer, something is likely wrong, and you should contact support.
