Youth protection information - "think before you share" campaign

KICK proudly partners with the internet watch foundation for youth protection

At KICK, the safety and protection of our community remain our top priority. We are proud to partner with the Internet Watch Foundation, also known as IWF, a leading organisation dedicated to combating online child sexual abuse and protecting children across the internet.

The Internet Watch Foundation has been at the forefront of online child protection for more than 25 years, working to remove child sexual abuse material from the internet and prevent its distribution. Through our partnership, IWF helps us stay current with industry-leading trends and best practices in online safety, helping ensure our platform maintains high standards of protection for all Viewers.

Supporting the "think before you share" campaign

We want to draw particular attention to IWF’s important Think Before You Share campaign, which educates young people about the serious risks and lasting consequences of sharing intimate images. This campaign addresses a critical issue affecting youth online safety and provides essential guidance on making informed decisions in digital spaces.

The Think Before You Share initiative reminds young people that once intimate content is shared online, they lose control over where it goes and who sees it. The campaign emphasises that sharing this type of content can have serious legal, emotional, and social consequences that may affect someone’s future education, career prospects, and personal relationships.

Our commitment to safety

Through our continued partnership with IWF, KICK demonstrates our commitment to creating a safe streaming environment. IWF’s expertise in identifying emerging threats and developing effective prevention strategies helps us protect our community while fostering a positive platform experience for Streamers and Viewers.

We encourage all members of the KICK community to learn more about online safety and visit the Internet Watch Foundation’s website to access valuable resources about digital citizenship and protection.

Together with IWF, we’re building a safer internet for everyone.
