How to request an unban from a channel's chat

If a streamer or one of their moderators has banned you from chatting in a channel, you can submit an Unban Request explaining why the ban should be lifted. Your appeal goes straight to that channel's streamer and moderators, who review and manage it from their own moderation tools.

How do I submit an Unban Request?

1. Go to the channel where you're banned from chatting.

2. In the chat box, you'll see the message "You're banned from chat." Click Request Unban.

3. Enter a short message explaining why your ban should be lifted.

4. Submit your request.

Your appeal is sent to that channel's streamer and moderators for review. You can only have one Unban Request open per channel at a time.

What happens after I submit my request?

While your request is pending, you can't submit another appeal for that channel. If it's approved, your chat ban is removed and you can chat again right away. If it's rejected, you'll need to wait 30 days before submitting another request.

Common questions

Can I submit another appeal while I'm waiting for a decision? No. You can only have one Unban Request pending per channel. You'll need to wait until it's reviewed before submitting another.

My appeal was rejected: when can I try again? You can submit a new Unban Request 30 days after a rejection.

Where does my request go? It's sent directly to the streamer and moderators of the channel you're banned from: there's no need to contact KICK Support separately.
